I love knitting and working with yarn for so many reasons. I was a history major in my undergrad life, and I loved it. The idea of weaving things in and out - like fibers - always fascinated me. Knitting and making yarn are rooted in so many rich histories across the globe - it’s an amazing thing to study. Of course, this isn’t going to be a history lecture - but I decided to add some of my love for history, knitting and fiber to a new product I created for my “other work” - teaching Social Emotional Learning and Stress Reduction (yes, I’ve done this for 10+ yrs now) into a digital “Woven Intentions” kit… It works with a paper loom, and adding fibers is optional - but can be fun! The kit can be found here and I’d love some feedback! I’m sending the kit, for free, to five participants who would like to make their own versions - using my kit - and send me, in return, 5 quality photos of your finished product. If you’re interested email me at TVL297@gmail.com … I’m working on a few other versions of this kit as well and I’m looking forward to bringing it to more classrooms this year!
My other kits and art workbooks are also posted to the same site (they’ll be here , on this site soon too). They include most of the workbooks found in this bundle, which can also be purchased alla carte.
